In his earlier years, Michael took to the stage, performing in scholastic, community and dinner theater. Starring in such plays as Harvey, Romeo and Juliet, Two Crooks and a Lady, The Serpent, and many other obscure productions you may not have heard of.

Shortly after, his love for cinema took hold and his focus turned to film. Discounting the literally hundreds of shorts he made with himself and his family, his legit work began with features such as Evil Genius Entertainment's 'LIVING DEAD WORLD', Scorpio Film Releasing's 'BEYOND THE DUNWICH HORROR', and Solipsist Media Group's 'ZOMBIE ALLEGIANCE.'

In addition, his list of credits include a myriad shorts such as 'MANIFEST BREAKFAST' (Optic Sugar), 'VAMPIRE NATION' (TSL Productions), 'SUBJECT C' (Daylight Films), 'ECSTATIC NOISE' (NYFA), 'PHOTOPHOBIA' (Loose Change Prod.), and many others.

Currently Michael is working on several projects in the Rhode Island area--titles include Scorpio Film Releasing's feature 'NUN OF THAT', a reoccurring in Round Table Films' Webisode 'GAVIN LANCE', and B.C. Films' 'PAYING YOUR DEBTS.'

He has also been cast in a classic "back to your roots" style horror feature being produced by Eyeris Productions, entitled 'MAIZE', which is to be shot later this year.

Michael also hosts the RI Film Actors Meetup Group (who meet monthly) along side Sarah Nicklin and Brandon Luis Aponte. Having organized the popular NYC Actors Meetup Group for three years, Michael decided to revive the group in Providence. You can find more info about the group here: http://acting.meetup.com/365/

Michael will continue his work in film here in the New England area until he and Sarah move to LA in the not-so-distant future.

Tim Fife of Cinema Suicide has this to say about Michael: "The acting caliber in the film is also above and beyond it’s peers, notably the work of Michael Reed (Kenny) who has the chops and the looks of someone that could be a future favorite genre actor. "
